"Ow! What was that for?" Tommy asked rubbing the back of his head gingerly.
 
"The buzz around school is that you asked my best friend Amy out!" his little 
sister Crystal spat out glaring at him her arms crossed across her small chest, 
her foot tapping the cherry-hardwood floor rapidly.
 
"Yeah, so?"
 
"She's my best frie..."
 
"Yeah, and she's cute" Tommy interjected
 
"Ugh" Crystal shouted stomping past her brother whacking the back of his 
unguarded head again as she left.
